The Trans Media Art Centrum

Foundation act in the spheres of culture, art and preservation of culture. The foundation want to contribute to the development and creation of communication spheres of modern transmedia and audiovisual art. We want to enable realizing innovative artistic projects making use of new technologies, science and media. The strategic objective is to create a modern centre of transmedia art with a new multimedia stage. There will be carried out artistic, scientific and educational operations in this centre.

The founder

Czesław T. Minkus (born in 1957 in Leszno, Poland) he deals with modern electro-acoustic, experimental music and with audiovisual art. He is a musician, composer and also an author of music and media, film and theatre projects. Czesław T. Minkus is a member of the Polish Society of Modern Music, Polish Association of Electro-acoustic Music and also the founder and frontman of Space Light Orchestra, MUSIC MEDIA ART ENSEMBLE, Minkus-TMAensemble, TMAStudio and Trans Media Art Centrum foundation (TMAC). For some time he collaborated with Tomasz Stańko, a trumpeter and composer, creating Specjalny Multimedialny Quintet (Teatr Stu, Cracow). He also periodically collaborated with other musicians playing new jazz, improvisation music, theatre of sound, electro-acoustic and electrical music and with a number of media artists.
